About CARPA	English (USA)
The list aims to be a forum for multidisciplinary activity in support of primary health care in Central Australia. CARPA is a loosely structured, voluntary organisation, which is involved in Primary Health Care and the education, training and support of health practitioners at all levels. Its activities include: * production of the Standard Treatment Manual * yearly two-day conferences (held on a weekend in March/April and September/October) * CARPA core group activities * addressing current issues of concern to its members * promoting communication between remote practitioners * publication of a newsletter and a number of other manuals This list server is a new venture to foster networking and discussion between health professionals working throughout Australia, particularly in isolated situations and/or Aboriginal health.
